April 7, 2022 - Still plenty of life, evolved to a real nice place.

May 21, 2021 - Consumed over 2 days (vacuvined and refrigerated), note from day 2. Appearance: Clear, medium ruby. Nose: Clean, medium intensity, developing aromas of dark fruit - cassis, blackberry and blueberry, black currant leaf and black olives. Palate: Dry, medium acidity and tannin, medium alcohol, medium+ bodied, medium intensity with flavors of slightly under-ripe dark fruit, black pepper, and black olives with medium+ length. Still developing, but can drink now, good for 5+ years yet.

January 31, 2021 - Quite reticent on day 1, but opened up by the second evening. Somewhat restrained nose with hints of beef blood, cherries, green pepper and leaf litter. Medium-full bodied, smokey, nice acid spine, a bit stemmy (particularly on the nose), smooth tannins. Drinking well now, but needs some air.

January 9, 2021 - Delicious Syrah. Still young open for several hours in advance.

May 5, 2020 - Opaque purple color. Tasted over two days. Tighter and fresher on the first day. Blackberry scent with a bit of floral lift. A wiff of barrel funk, vanilla and loamy scents round out the nose. Smooth and seamless on the palate. Blackberries, a streak of acidity and some woody or stemy flavors on the palate. Finishes smooth and medium with a bit of heat clipping the finish. Seems to be at peak, I don’t see this getting any better as the fruit fades with time. Drink up.
