September 26, 2022 - 2022 Port Harvest Tour; 9/22/2022-10/2/2022 (Porto, Portugal): This is an unfiltered cask sample, bottled this morning. This wine is over 40 years old and is a clear, orange-yellow in color. There are notes of grilled pineapple, torrefacted sugars, and caramel on the nose. Incredible, well-balanced acidity with citrus and DipStick candy (confectioner sugar)creates a wonderful sweetness on the palate. According to Carlos Flores, the oldest wine in this blend is a dry white that is over 80 years old. Carlos said that in making this wine he was "standing on the shoulders of giants." It has a very long finish.

April 30, 2022 - Red, White and a Rarity (Sammamish, Washington): Bottled in 2021. Amber-orange in color. Vanilla creme, tropical fruits, and just a touch of spirit on the nose. Well-rounded mouthfeel with some great acidity and balance. Really pleasant acidity and richness on the long finish.

September 28, 2015 - 2015 Port Harvest Tour; 9/26/2015-10/3/2015 (Portugal): Orange in color with slight greenish tinge. Some tropical notes on the nose, with is a little subdued due to the bottle just being opened. Citrus peel with some touches of butterscotch. Great acidity!
