December 16, 2023 - The Grand Cru of Dezaley is arguably the site for the best Chasselas, which many may consider is not a particularly strong recommendation may not be the recommendation for this workmanlike grape. Nonetheless Hauts de Pierre is Blaise’s best wine from a single parcel of old vine Chasselas. The quality shows and at 12 years this still has real quality.

December 31, 2013 - Typical Chasselas nose, fresh and mineral, but also with ripe fruit, peaches and even tropical fruits. The palate has a similar profile, with salinity dominating. The ripeness is clearly noticeable, but not detracting. Long finish, leaves the mouth very fresh and clean (I think because of the salinity).

February 14, 2013 - Pale straw yellow, clear.
The nose has mineral and floral notes, with a balsamic touch. On the second day a hint of citrus.
Dry on the palate, is more rich than the Calamin Cuvee Vincent, more noble, perhaps. Finishes on salinity too, but less strong, and intertwined with a lemon note. Very long. Overall has a remarkable balance. It will be interesting to follow for a few years.
