November 18, 2011 - G6 (Jock): Golden brown/orange color. Orange and brown sugar aromatics. Tastes of orange, cherry, lemon, lime, plumb, anise, and brown sugar. Rich finish. Almost port like. AP#25930493884.

November 28, 2009 - Half bottles for Thai food offline (King's Heath, Birmingham): A very deep, hazed appearance. Apples and raisins on the nose. This is a rich, yet delicate old riesling. It feels older than it should. Bit of a superannuated feel.

November 8, 2009 - Golden-caramel coloured. Very nice glue/petrolium orange peal, creme brulle, nice complexity. Most of its sweetness is resolved, still very pleasant. The acidity is perfectly and in total harmony with the finish. Not as long finish as expected.

July 16, 2009 - Thoroughly oxidized. I think. Caramel to nearly copper color, caramel and vanilla nose. Tasted like tarte Tatin: caramel again, really tart apples, candied citrus peel. I could have tagged this as "flawed", I suppose - but I actually really enjoyed it... Score reflects how this compares to other wines in the Tawny Port, Sherry, Madeira continuum I've had.

Curious to see how my other bottle performs.
