  February 18, 2019 - Tasted next to 2001 Izadi Expression. On the nose tobacco, leather, earthy, spices, sweet berry fruit. On the palate open, generous and soft with resolved tannins, good fruit and freshness. Quite linear with medium length. Delicious. Slowly drink up. 89-91

  January 31, 2019 - In good shape. Very spicy nose, lots of earth, truffles, leather. Palate keeps up and quite long finish. Excellent! Drink now.

  October 7, 2018 - Amazingly good still at 18 years. This 1.5 L bottle had only the slightest hint of being past its recommended drinking age. Quite mellow in tannins, subdued nose but still quite enjoyable.

  August 11, 2014 - Mature tempranillo from an average at best year. Reminiscent of decent bdx with age from an unremarkable year. Dark fruit, resolved tannins, a bit of dust and leather. Nose better than palate. Certainly worth drinking but not anything memorable.

  November 4, 2013 - What a difference 5 months made. This bottle is past peak. Still nice nose, but the life seems to have fled leaving just a shadow of its old self
