  January 8, 2017 - A pleasant wine with some notions of complexity and terroir. However, it leaves you wanting a little more: another dimension. Truth be told, it really is not bad at all at a $20 price point! Garnet colored. The legs are medium-fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like clementine, lychee, red currant, apple and verbena. It tastes like gooseberry, grapefruit, cherry and melon. The body is medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

  April 24, 2016 - Well balanced, very drinkable but based on the purple color alone, it appears to have time. Some dark fruit, fine tannins, well balanced alcohol.

  December 13, 2015 - First seemed thin. As it opened up the fruit flavor and balance made it very pleasing. Needed red meat to developed best flavor

  June 13, 2015 - Although some of the guys on the fishing trip liked it with the bison steaks, for me it still hasn't fulfilled 'the promise' of a Markham merlot blend. This just never lived up to it's billing.
