June 27, 2020 - Delicate pinot nose with red and dark berries. It is quite dark fruited for the vintage with a flavour profile of earth and spices. In a good spot now but still with mostly primary flavours. No green notes at all. We liked it.

March 29, 2014 - The deepest red of the four red Burgundies. A lovely, Gevrey nose of blackberry, spice, earth, underbrush and game meats. On the palate, a bit of an ugly duckling, not as good as I remember the 2010 Grand Cru. The acids and tannins seem to be in place but not yet in balance. Grand Cru level dry extract. Flavours of earth, dark cherries, forest floor and game. Austere style, with some fresh minerals. Clearly needs time to integrate, but probably not for long term cellaring, say 8-10 years. 12.5% alc. At this stage only 92, but might go higher with time.
