  De color rubí de medio cuerpo, luminoso, reflejos anaranjados y ambarinos, ribete atejado, muy claro.
  
  Aromas de buena intensidad, amplio, maduro y muy clásico, con el sello inconfundible de la casa (cuadra, cueros, fruta roja madura, cremosos, duelas envinadas) con un fondo tostado y de vainilla. Algo menos potente y profundo que el Viña Bosconia 1996 pero reconocible. Un Tondonia 100%, en perfecto estado de forma: finura y fresco a la par.
  
  En boca es elegante, fresco y pulido. Los taninos son pura seda, cremoso, con notas de vainilla y mucha fruta roja en sazón. Redondo y en gran momento de consumo. Para beber ya. Tiene una acidez cítrica notable, y un final largo lleno de detalles especiados. Elegancia, redondez.

  75% tempranillo, 15% garnacho, 10% mazuelo y graciano - 12.5% vol.
  Vendimia manual. Fermenta en viejas tinas de roble de 60 hectolitros sin control de temperatura. Cinco años y medio de crianza en barricas usadas de roble americano de 225 litros. Sometido a 2 trasiegas por año. Clarificado con claras de huevos frescos. Embotellado sin filtrar.

  April 7, 2012 - Quite brownish color that suggests a fully mature wine.
  Opens with smells of blood and iron. 2 hours in the decanter blew that away.
  Some warm wood here and some leather. Silky smooth tannins and perfectly integrated oak.
  Decent length. Went very well with bbq lamb.

  January 17, 2009 - Drinking really well right now. Some sandlewood spices in the nose, with elegant acidity and very soft tannin. The fruit is in the red spectrum and rich but not at all heavy, with a lovely bottle sweetness. Excellent.
