August 19, 2016 - It's not overly complex but I really like this wine. It's almost oily in its richness but has a lovely thread of minerality which tightens everything up in its place nicely. Great value here for what it is.

August 1, 2015 - Good pickled greens (slight asparagus) on the nose, and on the palate bit of lime cordial on the palate as well as that slightly pickled/canned greens found on the nose, fairly intense; very young still, and acidity a bit overdone, sharp for some at the table, but just youthful for others. Still, an overall balanced wine, not hugely long finish, but very food friendly, and definitely could get better with 2-3 years in the cellar. Needs to loosen up a bit, and prove to us it was worth the investment and worth waiting for.

August 31, 2014 - Silvery gold colour. Nose is lacking in any character or power....muted flint and citrus. Palate is flint and rather dilute lemon juice.......rather harsh oak and not much sign of malolactic fermentation, which is normally 100% with leflaive wines. No length or finish at all. I drank much better Appelation Bourgogne Blanc wines in Burgundy this summer......there is no hint of 1er Cru about this wine and it displays nothing you would associate with the quality winemaking you normally associate from Leflaive. It seems they are extending their brand too far.

April 13, 2014 - Pretty poor effort from Leflaive's negociant arm. None of that leflaive flint and tension. Citrus and some oak. Nothing to write home about.
