pepper and clove. The palate comes with black
fruit,, and surprisingly soft tannins. This
wine will improve over the next 5 years, therefore I might of opened mine too early. -

May 8, 2013 - Dark red and purple fruits on the nose. Peppery blueberry and grilled herb aromas with tinges of black olive. Roasty and gamy on the palate. Big, lush and bold, but the elements are balanced. Coats the palate with flavors of blueberry, boysenberry, licorice hints and herbal notes. Also some clove, smoke and plum. Dry finish.
