September 11, 2021 - Deep gold and viscous. Pungent aromas of peach, apricot and botrytis which followed through to the luscious palate with the addition of manuka honey. Rich, concentrated fruit which fanned out across a near endless finish. Essence of grape. Delicious, albeit on the sweeter end of the spectrum.

June 13, 2014 - Some think this is too sweet, but they don't get it. This wine is just for those of us that like the pain of our dental fillings screaming from the onslaught. It's an acquired taste, like Burgundy dirt and moldy green pepper Bordeaux. I don't go to Bordeaux tastings and call everyone idiots (well, not anymore), so if this isn't your thing, you have now been warned. Everyone else, I hope you get to experience this nectar some day. It's just intense.

April 28, 2014 - Thick and rich, with white raisins, and tropical fruits. Good length, but just like the last two bottles I had, this could have used a bit more acids to bump it to the "wow" category.

January 5, 2014 - It was nice to taste this by itself, instead of at the end of some marathon tasting. This definitely gets points for the complex array of flavors that are thrown out... white raisins, honey, apricot, pineapple, baked peaches, spice. So thick, sweet and rich with incredible length, but in the end, it could have benefited with a bit more acids to give lift to the heavy flavors one is assaulted with.

September 22, 2013 - Mostly Rieslings at home: Rich and honeyed, with a boatload of tropical fruits. Thick and palate-coating, with apricots, papaya and pineapple fruits to go with the sleeker pear and baked apple flavors. Not much minerality, and very sweet. Good, but this needs a bit more acidity to keep the outrageous amount of sweetness in check. Overall, I found this enjoyable, but a bit of a disappointment, given my high expectations.
