  July 26, 2019 - I was expecting this Vermentino to be over the hill at 6 years of age. Not at all! It still had good color and definitely screamed, "Vermentino!" It's a varietal that takes a lot of wine drinkers by surprise: They don't expect the in-your-face aggressive flavors. The fact that this wine has held so well is a testimony to its intensity and acidity.

  December 13, 2014 - Not like other vermentinos that I have tried. The nose is ripe and buttery. Other community reviewers have noted a tropical element to this wine. I can agree with that. The palate is also ripe with apples and honey flavors. Very quaffable but lacks the salty typicity of other vermentinos. If I had tasted this blind, I would have quested CA chardonnay or South African chenin blanc.

  August 29, 2014 - Crisp apple with some tropical fruit, slightly earthy on the nose. It's a nice wine to sip on a hot summer day but overall nothing special, fits snugly in the good range.
