April 22, 2019 - Extremely low yields and production #s are vague - current vintages produce less than 10 barrels. Some of the oldest vines in Burgundy dating back to the 1880s.
Welcome to the brooding, darker side of Burgundy. Intensely perfumed - Sauvage and Tertiary. Asian spices, smoked meats and violets peak from the stem.
Massive in structure - Rich, Powerful and Seductive with Velvety tannins. Mature red and black fruits. The palate mirrors the spicy and smoky aromatics. Love the Roty Style!!! -

April 13, 2018 - Beautifully layered and complex but not as powerful as other bottles we have had

September 20, 2014 - Wines Tasted at HDH Auction (Tru - Chicago IL): 2nd poor bottle of Roty today, this one most likely an off bottle due to heat damage and/or poor storage. showed something that reminded me of decay. Just nothing interesting. I don't think I've had this wine in 5+ years but remember it as a powerhouse.
