March 11, 2020 - While this could have been a decent, low price Burgundy, it was seriously flawed by an obvious metallic taste. Not just one bottle; I opened another and it had the same problem. I have no way of knowing what kind of metal it is, but whatever it is, I'm not going to drink it. The tops of the corks - only the tops - were somewhat discolored. Was it something metallic in storage before capsules were added? Dumped both down the drain. What a waste. It's extremely rare for me to find a metallic wine.

Apart from that, it was still a bit tannic with the fruit being OK but having faded somewhat, at 9 years of age. Apart from THAT, it could have been pretty good.

October 31, 2019 - Lack of fruit. Some tar and mustiness. May have been a bad bottle

December 18, 2017 - Thin, a little sour, minimal fruit

May 21, 2017 - Very thin, acidic. Lots of minerality but minimal fruit to balance

May 3, 2016 - Thin, boring and uninspiring. I guess 25 bones doesn't get you much in Burgundy.
