May 4, 2024 - Tasted over 3 hrs, bottle from PC
    -med red mild bricking
-reduction funk that partly blows off just barely allows some earthy black cherry to sneak through
-med acidity, med weight creamy black cherry rhubarb faint sous bois, med- tannins mostly resolved
-on mature plateau drinking well now but the reduction a bit more prominent than prior bottles, has a bit of a cooler-climate New World pinot vibe

    December 14, 2022 - Tasted over 3 hrs
    -med dark red mild bricking
-early reduction blows off, ripe faintly smoky black cherry with some sweet decay sous bois
-med acidity, med/med+ weight initial black cherry fruit yields to a more subdued yet dense dusty licorice molasses, med tannins
-quite dense and thick for the vintage, taking on some mature elements, gives the impression of a modern style wrestling with the underlying slightly rustic terroir

April 30, 2022 - Pale ruby color, medium intensity nose of red plum, bell pepper and dried herbs. Some secondary cedar notes, and even a touch of petrol. On palette Medium- body, medium- tannins, medium alc, and dry. Nicely balanced on the palette, if somewhat shy on the nose. Is not that long a finish but very pleasant. Overall in a nice place; soft tannins. Does come across as light wine but not weak, and has nice Burg flavors. I admit I am a huge fan of this producer, and he does not disappoint. That said it is light and should be drunk on its own, or with light fare - salads, gentle cheeses, fish even.

February 5, 2022 - Opened 2 hours before tasting. Last tasted two years ago. Similar now. An elegant balanced wine with lovely nose and pleasing finish. Light bodied and perhaps a bit understated

April 5, 2019 - Quite closed when first opened. Improved over two hours. Attractive, delicate and fragrant nose and finish. Light body. Hard to tell whether there is more to come from this. A pleasant, slightly understated burgundy.
