July 24, 2018 - No formal notes but very nice.

August 19, 2017 - This bottle offers great QPR and has actually added some decent weight for a vintage characterized as light. It offered a great cross of spice, rhubarb and enough funk to let you know its from Oregon. Absolutely no rush to drink but it is in a great drinking window. I could see this going 4-5 years with no degradation.

April 20, 2017 - Wonderful, expressive nose cherry with floral accents, with the cherry carrying through to the palate with other red fruits. Though it wasn't my first (or second thought) for pairing, it had enough acidity to drink on day 3 with ground lamb seasoned with garam masala. This was both approachable enough for easy drinking (that is not damning with faint praise) and complex enough to interest OR Pinot lovers. Earthy notes (that I enjoy in WV Pinot) were nicely integrated.

This was Big Table Farm's "entry level" Pinot Noir, and very nicely done.

February 20, 2016 - This is in just such a pretty spot now. Dropped into a decanter, consumed over the next 2+ hours. Light and ethereal an acid driven wine with tart (not under-ripe) red fruit (raspberry, rhubarb, strawberries) rose pedals, cinnamon, with just a touch of forest floor.

Last of the two bottles I had; so wish I had more. These so called "off" vintages from WV can over deliver in the hands of the right producer. Thank you Brian and Clare. Final thought: label said 12.8% alcohol; love that too!

December 19, 2015 - PnP, ran through a vinturi, this pinot is burgundian in all aspects, with a nose of cherry, stone, violets. The palate has pronounced acidity which pops at a lower temperature and mellows as the glass warms. The fruit comes forward with time in the glass and develops a slight stemmy aspect which is enjoyable. This can clearly age further in the cellar and likely gain some weight and complexity.
