September 7, 2015 - Black cherry. Little bit of smoke. Spice. Graphite.

March 7, 2013 - Willamette Valley Wines presents: Pinot in the City (City Winery, Chicago, IL): Nose: This is showing some real complexity with tones of spices, red berries, cherries, roses, incense, and some bits of earth tones. There is very good depth with an expressive side to this as well.

Taste: Gorgeous medium body with medium/high acidity that is extremely noticeable. The palate is extremely youthful with flowing tones of spices, red berries, earth tones, incense, and red cherries.

Overall: This is a very young, but very pretty pinot. There is a lot to like about it already with a real sense of style and class on both the nose and palate.

March 7, 2013 - "Pinot in the City" tasting (Chicago, Ill): Nice. Nothing exceptional, but very well made. Bright cherries, earth, smoke. Still needs time in the cellar.
