December 15, 2015 - Quite oxidized for only an 09, which isn't necessarily a bad thing..... Cork looked kinda black and funky. Deep golden color. Aromas of sherry-like nuttiness and acetaldehyde, honey, dried apple and pear, wet wool, dried flowers. Honey, lime rind and wet stone minerality on the palate. Full bodied, high acidity, long tart finish. I would check cork color on any left in cellar and not keep too much longer.
