April 21, 2024 - Decanted for 5 hours but needed more time. Was still tight and unwilling to give up its best. I think this will be better in 5-10 years.

January 13, 2024 - Five hour decant. Was still a little closed to start. By hour two it was starting to sing. Excellent cherry and red fruit on the nose. Starting to see tannins fade. I think this will be better with more cellaring. Four bottles left. Will have the next in a year or so.

August 23, 2023 - Way too young to open. Mistake. Tannins still resolving but promising

February 20, 2023 - Gaja Barbaresco 2010.
Ah, dette lukter helt fantastisk.
Mørke bær, roser, krydder og tjære.
Skyhøy fruktkvalitet.
Akkurat innen for drikkevinduet sitt - helt nydelig, men vil fortsette en god utvikling.
Holder kraften gjennom hele kurven.
Stram fokusert utgang men meget pene bestemte tanniner.
En helt strålende Barbaresco! 94p -

January 8, 2023 - Decanted a few hours and drank with a pork belly. Delicious, balanced, rich, full of body with fine acidity. Still youthful in terms of flavor profile, not a ton of secondary and tertiary notes but very enjoyable. Seems to have a lot of life remaining.
