November 28, 2021 - Napa Last Weekend: JCampano nails the notes for this wine.
An amazing wine- full bodied but never overly blown out. Purity of fruit is off the charts. With a three hour decant this thing is singing in the rain, and it has the acidity and structure to continue cruising for the next decade+.
The only thing holding this back was that it was matched up against a 2018 MacDonald during dinner. That being said, this HA more than held its own... -

November 19, 2021 - Another excellent CS from the folks at Hundred Acre. Gorgeous floral and bold black fruit aromas. After a 2-hour decant, it hit the palate with plum, cassis, black cherry and blackberry flavors. Crushed rocks and licorice were observed as well. Well-mannered tannins take you to a 30-second finish!
