  October 2, 2021 - Great color and body. Allspice in the nose. Dry, astringent, black plum fruit with long, tobacco finish.

  January 6, 2018 - Wine remains deep purple to the edge. No sign of aging even though I had misplaced and forgotten about it in the cellar for several years. Nose pleasant with cherry and earthy notes with a hint of vanilla and dark spice. As others have said, not overly layered but near perfection on the palate from a tactile sense. Still showing excellent fruit with big mid palate structure and flavor diminishing somewhat quickly on the back end.

  July 31, 2016 - Lots of dark fruit on the nose & attack without much in the way of secondaries. As another taster mentioned, it finishes a bit short, but it has such a rich velvety mouth feel I won't quibble. You won't spend as much time with your nose in the glass as usual, but you'll probably drink it much more quickly.
