January 29, 2018 - I had no expectations of this bottle but it surprised me as I opened it in January of 2018, well after the recommended "drink by"date. I did allow the bottle to breathe for 2 hours before even tasting. Very fruity and leathery nose, good balance of acid and tannin with notes of dark fruit and chocolate. Long pleasant finish. Was very good with grilled steaks. Wish I had another couple of bottles!

September 3, 2016 - What a difference from my first bottle - much tastier. Good fruit, dark cherry. Went well with charcoal grilled burgers.
