November 28, 2013 - Big with cherry, blackberry, chocolate, spice, herbaceous notes, and earth. Fruit/flavor bomb but with a surprisingly elegant balance for the size.

November 4, 2013 - nose: very distinct concord grape jam and autumn leaves. intense, deep earthiness. hot cocoa. black pepper.
palate: velvety, peppery, earthy. wow! explosive blackberry pie. it's dry and dense and sappy but vegetal and tight...does that make sense? imagine taking a big bite of a blackberry pie dusted with pepper, dirt, a couple tea leaves, cinnamon, and dark chocolate shavings right after munching on a bell pepper. finish is huge, spicy, clove-y and tannic.
it's totally loaded and bordering on flabby, but who cares? oh man, this is so good...
