June 22, 2018 - Very full of charcoal and granite flavor. Probably should have let it breathe for more than 30 minutes as it was missing smoothness.

February 24, 2018 - Winebar [1 Rosé, 3 Whts, & 8 Reds] from 02/23/18 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): N: JAMMY (lingonberries) to the max!

P: Med body; RNDISH, ALMOST stish frt firmed by an astringency which slowly evolves into a LONG finish with a bitter/swtness to the very, VERY fine tannins. An interesting, but not particularly varietal style for now & into '20, I'd guess. My VG/VG+; 91 pts WE (8/1/13) @ $35, 90 WA, + other scores & medals on wine-searcher's Tasting Notes pg. [As of late Feb '20, wine-searcher still shows 1 source @ $26.99].

May 3, 2016 - Much better bottle than my last bottle. Same general notes but this bottle actually makes me think I may have had a bottle with some level of a poor cork because this had such a nice flavor profile. My original thought was that on my first bottle was that it was the 2011 vintage overall. My last bottle and I truly enjoyed it.

March 27, 2016 - A lovely, lovely wine and graet value. I paid 20 per bottle a few years back.
Definitely drinking now like the 40 bottle that wine.com thinks it is!

November 23, 2015 - Dark ruby red with a muted nose but a really pleasant bottle overall. 2011 was rough overall and has produced wines that are ready to drink early so decided to open this one. On the palate, a nice overtone of strawberry, cola, oak, and just a hint of vanilla. Good bottle. I will drink my last one sometime in 2016.
