Community Tasting Notes 3

February 14, 2015 - Light yellow color. Nose of lemon curd, buttered apple and a bit of toast and vanilla. Apple and citrus flavors on the palate with a touch of oak but acidity was lacking and the wine felt a bit flat on palate. Very short finish as well. The nose far exceeded the palate on this wine and ultimately it was a bit disappointing, especially for the price.

November 17, 2013 - Following the Big Sur half marathon, we did a six Chardonnay tasting with seven adults. This bottle came in a close second to the first place Tallulah 2009 Chardonnay. Delightful chard. I had visited this wine store in Sonoma after reading a Washington State newspaper article on five Sonoma wineries that should not be missed.

October 3, 2013 - Light golden color. Nose of brioche, citrus, a bit of crème brulee. Mostly citrus flavors on the palate with a hint of vanilla and cream. Nicely textured mouthfeel and good finish.
