July 1, 2018 - We really enjoyed. Good structure, not overwhelming just great.

October 24, 2016 - A Côte Rotie Evening (San Francisco): Light red. A little stringy, lean, peppery, stemmy, and earthy without much fruit, texture, or charm.

October 6, 2016 - Same wild flavors as the 2012 but without quite the power and grip. This has red-fruited flavors starting to turn the corner into an autumnal winy stage along with expressive olive and herb brush aromatics from the stems. The texture here, though, is supple and streamlined and even the tannins seem mostly glossed over. I am really excited to have discovered this producer because the experience is a lot like drinking Jamet on the cheap.

June 9, 2014 - Rich, plush yet pretty and floral nose. Deep smokey flavors and a long luscious finish. Great QPR.

January 25, 2014 - I served this in my wine course. Relatively high pitched nose of light red berries. Some violets coming through from the viognier. Middle weight mid palate, with a decent finish. This wine is surprisingly assessable despite how young it is.
