  November 14, 2021 - Cork was wasted, decanted thru a wine filter. Still very nice for such an older wine. Was 1991 a mediocre vintage? Perhaps, but the Bruniers did a fine job. Drink up.

  August 15, 2021 - Well oh my oh my where do we start with this beauty. So translucent you could be convinced it's burgundy from appearance. Beautiful nose of garrigue and red fruits. Gorgeous velvet palate. Delicious. Decanted for 15 minutes and was best in the first 15 minutes after that but held for 1 hour as we enjoyed our mains at Churchill's. I had rack of lamb and it was an amazing pairing!!

  June 6, 2020 - Drank blind with TC. Dusty, unfiltered medium garnet with no bricking. I went down an Italian Nebbiolo path with this and then switched to brunello due to mid palate sweetness that was very much in tact.

  September 12, 2017 - 1991 DOMAINE du VIEUX TELEGRAPHE CHATEAUNEUF du PAPE- this was perfectly balanced and so giving; still youthful, vibrant and expressive, it had wondrous wild red cherry/ berry with hints of cranberry, blueberry and plum; the texture was soft and velvety, it had a medium body and everything came together for a grand climax just past mid palate; immensely pleasing.
