May 22, 2017 - A good wine but was a bit much on the acidity and sort of a cherry bomb. I will decant the next one as I don't think it will improve with age.

October 11, 2015 - While for some wine reviewers this sould drink well till 2009, for others it will be nice till 2030. It's all a matter of taste after all. Decided to open my bottle yesterday: let it breathe for 1h on the decanter and drank it through a 2h dinner. Still fresh (medium acidity), lively, with beautiful ruby color, lots of fruit (ripe cherries & plums), some licorice and plenty of wood. More in the 'elegant' style, tanninous, with long finish. Probably at its peak.

May 3, 2015 - Deep reddish purple, clear but dense. Fruity (black), but some secondary notes of earthiness, spice and even hints of tobacco. Opens up after 2-3 hours but no quicker. Fairly long, fairly well integrated, tannins are providing depth but no harshness. Liked.

May 3, 2015 - Decanted 1hr prior to serving. Dry cork but wine was prestine.

Deep garnet, touch cloudy. Well developed secondary and tertiary aromas dominate the nose. Loads of sweet brown baking spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, mocha, and touch of cedar, pine resin adds a sense of fresh earthiness. Blackberry preserve and baked plum.

Medium tanins are soft on the palate. Medium body, acid, alcohol. Lots of stewed dark fruits on the palate, currants and plum. Milk chocolate. Finish is medium in length, was hoping it would be longer. A very good wine, probably at its peak. Drink now - 2017.
