March 1, 2015 - Fleshy and ripe. Very juicy with some acidity and some of those well known pinot notes of forest floor and mushroom. Continued to evolve throughout the night. Heat was in check. I have one left I will try and hold for a few more years. Good QPR. Although not the same style, QPR is similar to Hirsch Bohan Dillon.

May 9, 2014 - Excellent wine. Medium ruby-magenta, dark but not opaque. Decent viscosity. Exotic, intoxicating bouquet is quite complex. Roses. Lavender. Even more exciting in the mouth. Rich, velvety, with beautiful fruit and a complex dark cherry aftertaste in the finish, which really lasts. This is a beautifully constructed wine. High in alcohol, but it is well integrated. 4-13-17-9: 93/100.

April 9, 2014 - West of West Wine Festival (City Winery, Chicago, IL): Becoming less and less my style of Pinot. High alcohol. Really rich and ripe. Seemed lower acidity. Still tasty but less finesse driven.
