April 25, 2016 - Rich, darkcolor. Firm but not raw tannins looong finish with the Cab Franc showing well against the cab/merlot. A beauty!

September 16, 2013 - Wine Adventure - Alto-Adige, Valpolicella, Soave, Bolgheri, Barbaresco & Barolo; 9/11/2013-9/20/2013 (Italy): Nose of black cherry and flowers and hint of tobacco. Good balance between acidity and tannins. Accessible now, but could put 10 years of age on this in your cellar. Fruit on the front of blackberry and plum, with a light tobacco flavor on the mid-palate and a medium length dark chocolate finish. Nice effort at a reasonable price.
