February 23, 2024 - Aromas have slightly faded since I last tried this a few years ago. However, the color remains a vibrant red. After about one hour of air, on the palate, this is now really nice mature Burgundy. The fruit, tannins and acidity are all in good balance, and the finish is quite long but with a slight drying quality which tells me that this won't be this good for much longer. Drink up.

August 1, 2021 - Red with orange hints. Aroma of grapefruit, roast meat, red fruits. Flavour of chalk, redcurrant, spice, menthol. Really delicious.

    December 26, 2020 - Dernière de quatre.
Belle couleur rubis.

August 7, 2020 - Compared to when I tried this a 2 years ago, this has now opened up for business. The sweet floral aromas are much more pronounced with night scented flowers and red fruits that are immediately enticing. On the palate it's nimble with delicate, smooth tannins alongside strawberry and hints of red cherry that is all balanced with refreshing light acidity. The finish is like the delicious taste of mineral water on a hot day which, without knocking your socks off, satisfies and lingers. Went well with Lamb Chops and mint sauce. All in all, it turned out much better than I imagined from my first encounter where I scored it a mere 85 (my bad). Seems to be in prime space right now and should hold good for a few years yet. This was a great recommendation by Guy at BI HK. I've no hesitation to bump this up to a 92.
