January 28, 2018 - This is a very pretty wine that seems more French than Washington. Spice, soft, lighter bodied, integrated tannins. Reflective of a cooler vintage, showing how well-made Washington wine can age gracefully. A nice food wine, but also pleasing to drink on its own. If you're lucky enough to have any left, decant for two hour or more, and then, enjoy. I think this wine is at its peak.

November 22, 2015 - Classic tasting rustic Rhone blend, with a mix of plum, cherry, cranberry, strawberry, anise, pepper, canned black olives and earth. Stunningly well balanced: not too tart, not too tannic and not uncomfortably smooth. However, it does feel and taste a touch too thin, a touch too metallic and possibly a touch too rustic. Paired impeccably with a homemade minestrone.

April 9, 2014 - Nose: The nose has a real attractive savory quality with black fruits, olives, black cherries, spice notes, and a touch of violets. The nose is wound a little tight, but there is good depth and style.
Taste: Medium/full bodied with medium acidity as well as youthful and chewy tannins. The savoriness continues with black fruits, olives, black cherries, leather, and some violets on the back end.
Overall: This is a wonderful rhone based blend. While this harkens to a more rustic side of the southern rhone, there is still a real attractive dark red fruit core that shows its new world-ness.1 person found this helpful Comment -

January 18, 2014 - Captivating spiced black fruit, subtle earth tones and cherries, stacked with a quarry full of minerals. Opened up nicely after 2 hours. This lovely blend finished with powder soft tannins that went on for a full swoop of the second hand. I like this is even better than the 2009 vintage. This will certainly hold up for many years to come. Drink next 2015
