December 22, 2023 - At the opening, I could smell the hold rotten wood from the cork. No vinegar, just rotten wood. The cork was in a really good shape.
Color is still pretty dark, opaque red.
First nose from the glass reveal a classic bordeau. Smell the fruit, dark fruit, hold wood.
First sip gave me sharp but not deep tanins. The taste is surprisingly fresh, fruity with a touch of the hold wood in it.
Tanins took about 10 minutes to leave the place to the flavour. It’s a really good wine with beef bourgignon but was really enjoyable by itself after the meal.
After 1.5 hours it started to shut down and the oxidation were present. Good thing we were at the end of the bottle!
Some sediments but really not that much for a 30 years old wine.
It was overall an amazing experience.

    December 9, 2023 - Deep brick red.
Aromas of leather, tobacco, cedar, harrowed soil, truffle, cassis, ripe plum and mint.
Finely grained tannins. Sour cherry acids and black coffee bitterness. Medium body.
Palate of cassis, cigar box, grilled beef, cardamom, cinnamon, forest floor and
A mature, elegant, almost slender and classical Medoc with surprisingly fresh fruit, typical spicy aromas, delicate bitterness and a healthy earthy finish. Drink within 10 years. Tasted 2023.

May 22, 2023 - This is real Bordeaux. Very alive. Smell great! Delicious. Don’t wait, it’s on his peak.

April 1, 2022 - Not as good as I might have expected, but we should have put it through an aerator/filter into the decanter because of sediment

November 9, 2020 - Nose of black berry, forest floor, and saddle leather, on the palate medium/big body, tasty, mouth filling fruit, nice secondary flavors which suggests its time to reward yourself for the cellar efforts and drink up, and a long finish. Photo uploaded.
