April 4, 2024 - It served well in the family dinner with seafood and chicken. Colour was beatiful, good aroma and body, long after taste.

September 24, 2023 - One of the rarer white wines in my collection, especially in magnum size. It didn't perform that well. The acidity was way too high, which I personally didn't like. But my friends were okay with it. They said it is a characteristic of Sauvignon Blanc. I guess I couldn't really appreciate it.

March 18, 2023 - This was a treat as I didn't even know that Ch. Margaux made a white. Opened for 1h prior prior to drinking. Aromas had not quite developed in the hour but showed apples with mild nuts, apricots and herbs. Palate w tart apples, some ripe grapefruit, herbs, a bit of butter and vanilla leading to a nice finish of tart apples and a mildly waxy mouthfeel. I suspect this needed more air and/or more time as the aromas were somewhat shy. But this was excellent on the palate.

March 18, 2023 - young yellow color, quiet and shut down nose with hints of lemongrass and oak, on the palate highly viscous, as with the nose still closed down with mousse-coated mineral notes, with time persistent citrus tones, good length, attractive but I would hold this a bit longer for further development, as forward as it can be in youth- the potential life span of this wine in even a lesser year like 2012 can be substantial.

November 30, 2022 - RC's corporate 15th anniversary dinner banquet, Asia Society (Hong Kong): Magnum bottle. Lightly perfumed nose of spring flowers and pomelo rind. Fresh and crispy lemony flavors on the palate, this wine is vibrant and light on its feet despite its age. A perfect foil the butter seared cod served at dinner.
