October 12, 2020 - Tasted blind. Dark fruit, spices, leather, tobacco, red plum, and a hint of cloves on the nose. Tart fruit on the palate with more spices and medium+ tannins. Good finish. 91+

February 14, 2020 - Still holding up well. Bright purple red with no hint of brown. Nose of berry, wet rock. Flavors of red fruits, black cherry, strawberry. Soft tannins.

June 13, 2017 - A solid example of St. Joseph. Nice acid. Good balance with tannin. Red fruit. Moderate finish.

June 4, 2016 - Friday evening "Bring what you want" (Kevin and Vicki's house): Slow o'd an hour - it could have used 30-60 minute decant. Initially, light, lean and herbal with anise and a touch of funk. After about 45 minutes in glass, it fleshes out and is quite nice. Meaty, a touch of olive. My last bottle and I really wish I'd bought more.

June 3, 2016 - Last Minute Friday WTDS (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Very dark red color. Drank 1 glass over an hour plus. Started out tight, especially the nose. The nose showed spice, some subtle earthiness, red and black fruits. The palate becomes more black fruited in profile, there is a green herbal streak in the mid palate that comes and goes, cassis, herbal, pepper, nice oak. After about 30-45 minutes, this really became nice with a distinct savory, meaty nose and palate.
