May 11, 2013 - Lite gold with medium viscosity in the glass. Nose of oak, pear, pith, tart tropical fruit and wet stone. Medium body with a driven acidic core and oak, pear, walnuts, citrus, hay and spice on the palate. Oak and bitterness too apparent. Medium finish. Should improve as the oak integrates.
