  fein, elegant, zwar gereift aber ohne Altersnoten
  schöne Frucht, helle Beeren
  anfangs leicht ätherisch in der Nase, was verflog

  August 21, 2022 - 21082022 - popped this the night before, decanted it for 2 hrs, had 2 glasses and poured remaining back to the bottle & back to the chiller. Revisited today with @Joe Yee and very glad that the initial strong barnyard (reminded me of when my grandma slaughter her ducks) totally gone. Replaced with beautiful nose of over ripe plum, sous bois, wood/pencil shavings and old tobacco. Palate; surprisingly mid+ acidity and still fleshy tannins. Love the drying finish with fresh wood shavings notes at end palate

  December 4, 2021 - The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like red currant. It tastes like cranberry. The body is medium. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

  October 19, 2021 - Over the hill but still drinkable. Had it with a meat lover’s pizza and it was still a match. Figured I had nothing to lose. Color looked good. Nose was a little flat. Cork was soaked and wouldn’t come out in one piece so I needed to decant. Still not a terrible bottle considering it’s many years past its prime.

  June 12, 2017 - un peu léger et aqueux mais tout de même agréable et très buvable.
