  March 14, 2013 - Chianti Classico tasting- the black rooster crows at the dawn of a new age (Allerton Hotel, Chicago IL): Nose: There is a real nice savory take to the nose with tones of red fruits, licorice, cherries, herbs, and wild spices.
  
  Taste: Medium bodied with medium/high acidity and silky tannins. There is good youth to the palate with fresh and savory tones of red fruits, cherries, herbs, and wild spices.
  
  Overall: This is lacking some depth that would really make the wine. Still, it's young and could benefit from some age.

  March 14, 2013 - This wine has it all. Gorgeous red fruit (especially cherries) nicely balanced with oak, acid, great structure. Supple, well-rounded with a silky finish. Sophisticated, delicious.
