Community Tasting Notes 1

November 30, 2005 - Deep purple very rich and opaque. Nice earthy nose with vanilla, liquorice, and a dusty minerality. In the mouth this wine is dense w/strong tannins, that appear very fine with a firm acidity. Flavors of cherry, anise, light earth, oak (well integrated), and light raspberry. Very rich and probably better with some grilled lamb. 3.5/5
