July 24, 2009 - A Grenache-Carignan-Syrah blend, that was wonderfully enjoyable in its youth, with loads of ripe berry and cherry fruit, but the wine closed down completely after two years and was nearly undrinkable. The wine is more approachable yet, but tannins and structure are still very tight. Probably needs a few more years to mellow, but I’m not sure it will develop harmoniously.
