April 11, 2015 - Very light brass. Nose is lemon and oak. Clear, clean, tart. Has hints of new world creaminess mixed with a Chablis-like crisp acidity. A bit too simple, straitforward and crisp, but enjoyable. Interesting contrast consumed next to a nice Soave Classico; two very different whites; this on the tart citrus side of the spectrum, the Soave on the complex, savory side.

June 21, 2014 - Saturday Samples (My Place - Washington, DC): Pale lemon color. Bright aromas of lime, green apple, some river rocks mixing with sweet orange blossoms. On the palate, this is so bright and tangy, with racy acidity and lots of minerals and sea shells. Lime peel mixes with white peach, some honeycomb and orange blossom and some waxy notes. A live-wire wine but it shows a lot of concentration. Subtle nuances of nougat and hazelnut accentuate the wine. Very impressive stuff that I’m guessing could do well for three or four years.

March 8, 2014 - 2014 Oregon Chardonnay Symposium (Stoller Family Estate): Spearmint and lemon scents show here, making for a refreshing nose with zip. It's light on contact with green gooseberry flavors starting things out, and evolving to very enjoyable and pure lemon curd flavors filling out the mid palate. The acidity rises gracefully behind the fruit, never eclipsing other characteristics, but still making the mouth water. Everything lasts for a long time, remaining big and crisp on the finish.
