February 23, 2014 - Benchmark everyday barbera for me, really spot on. Refreshingly tart but also sufficiently ripe to give lush dark fruits and suppleness, while avoiding even a hint of extra ripeness or clumsyness. This is really balanced, and contains a hint of funky earthiness that doesn't really come across as dirty, just fun.

February 22, 2014 - A very musty smelling cork gave pause but nose and palate seemed fine. First glass was a delight. Well balanced Barbera with good weight and was downright delicious. But then the evil TCA bloomed in full. Regrettably poured out the remainder.

February 16, 2014 - Delicious well made Italian red. For price, can't be beat. nice berry fruit, little minerality, great acidity. Drink with food all night long.

May 24, 2013 - Delicious, very drinkable Italian red. Lots of red fruit and full bodied but not aggressive with a nice mellow finish. Great pair with a light Italian pasta dish.
