February 24, 2023 - Relatively attractive nose with hints of spice and roses. Also little barnyard smell. In the mouth a little ripe and very slightly stewed, but still overall a good experience with GC length.

September 27, 2022 - Very enjoyable for its bold black cherry fruit framed by moderate vanilla oak. Sound acidity, nice texture. Any yet still rather simple aroma and flavors, presumably because it’s still too young like many 1999 red Burgundies. Fairly promising but give it 5 more if you want to see where it’s going to land.

  • Burgnick Likes this wine: 91 points

September 27, 2021 - For this particular bottle, the wine is more evolved for a 99 with more earthy tone than one expect in a RSV. Compared to the robust and youthful 02 Arnoux RSV tonight, it is inferior.

August 9, 2019 - Spicy. Good not great. Not stewed fruit but rather mixed and a little roasty. Maybe served too warm. Not thrilled with this one, seemed to like it better last year.

July 16, 2019 - Structured, stemmy, brown spice, and basket of blue and black fruit. Opened up beautifully with soaring acidity and fruit with deep concentration. It kept developing in a 3 hours dinner. A really good rsv that has just entered its drinking window with a long trajectory. 94-95
