October 27, 2019 - A forward bouquet of red cherry, tobacco, leather, salty minerals, five spices and tar. Persistent and deep palate reflecting the nose, rich and fresh notes on an open structure. The more you chew on it, the more layers of spices, rich fruit and tobacco. Medium bodied with seamless transition to finish which is lively and lingering. Some tannins at the end to extend the aromatic profile. Still young, can age for another 3-5 years.

May 31, 2016 - Medium to dark translucent ruby in color. On the nose you get some vanilla, mint, plum and some grassiness. On the palate there is some tannin, cherry, plum and creamy, oaky vanilla, along with bright acidity. Fairly short on the aftertaste but will likely age pretty well still from here. Still quite youthful.
