July 11, 2022 - The nose shows great spicy richness. The palate is disappointing. The fruit has largely fallen out, leaving lots of acid. Given the better showing in December, I will keep my last bottle to see what it does. Bought from a cellar sale through a source I trust, so I anticipate but can’t guarantee its provenance. The first bottle was wonderful.

July 3, 2022 - Sunday lunch in haute savoie, it has been a while. Decanted for 2 hours. Deep ruby Color. A magnificent animal and leather nose, dried cherries. Med+ acidity, med alcohol, Med body, med flavor intensity, med tannins, med finish. Still young as the acidity is med+, balanced mouth with red fruits, sous bois, mushroom, leather, so some nice tertiary notes but I think this is just the beginning so best to wait a couple of Years. Nice lingering minerality at the end.

December 3, 2021 - Wonderful aromatic, herbaceous, spicy, red fruited, mature aromas.

June 13, 2021 - This is fantastic stuff! Very dark purple in the glass, complex nose and palate, filled with red fruit, herbs snd spices, and a very silky, long and fresh finish. Drink now-2031 (at least).
