May 22, 2016 - Loganberry, overripe strawberry, black pepper, tobacco, leather and a touch of green pepper. This was a nice wine right from the pop, but I would have guessed that it was much older. Open and complex now. Enjoyed over a long sunday afternoon lunch.
87+ and I agree with the food wine assessment, but good luck finding something for this price in burgundy that will PNP this well. -

March 20, 2016 - I liked this wine. Went well with a rustic gratin with some hearty cheeses. As others have said it is a bit thin. Starts out a bit stronger with some dark fruit but thins on the finish. Good food wine but I wouldn't eat anything too big with it. A little funk and forest floor too. I decanted for at least an hour. Helped a lot.
