May 7, 2021 - This is the first aged Franciacorta that I've tasted, and it was really outstanding. Ticks all the boxes for mature champagne, with well developed brioche and toasty mineral quality. Concentrated yellow fruit, honey, burnt sugar.

August 12, 2018 - excellent Franciacorta (70% chardonnay and 30% pinot noir) aged in barriques. Fine bubbles and crust of bread coupled with elegant minerality and some aromatic taste. Best paired with bread, butter and anchovies. In a hot afternoon at La Thuile watching at the passing time
