  September 15, 2014 - Dark purple-black. petty nose of dark plums. Served with steak. Palate of fresh black cherries, black plums, medium tannins, vg acids. Finishes well with fruit, freshness, and cleansing but not dry tannins. held up well for 2nd night.

  April 24, 2013 - Haven't had this grape before. Very interesting. Lots of acidity with some minty notes. The wine calms down nicely with some time in the decanter but I found the finish to be a little abrupt. Good wine and under $20 makes it a decent value if you want to try something new.

  September 24, 2012 - Drank after a Biale Zin, so the tasting was jaded. spice, minerals, subtle fruit. dry mineral finish.

  July 6, 2010 - Solid weeknight wine at $17.50. Smooth mouth feel with some blueberry, cinnamon and dark currant fruit. Enjoyable but one-dimensional.
