July 22, 2013 - Medium riesling with grapefruit and pear tones. Delicious summer quaffer.

May 25, 2013 - Willamette Valley for Memorial day weekend and a peak at 2012; 5/25/2013-5/26/2013: This was not a vineyard designate wine, but I gather it all comes from a 1 acre parcel of the 6 acre "Mrachek" vineyard, planted in 2004, supposedly the only truly terraced vineyard in the Northwest, grown on a 30% slope, as you would find in Germany or Austria. The grapes were picked in November and 20% of the clusters were botrytis effected. The aromas are very soft and even here some detection of the 3.5% residual sugar is noted. Palate is soft and fairly generic of decent Riesling. Very slightly gritty, with mild acid on the finish, but overall this is incredibly lean and straight forward. Hopefully this could develop more depth in future vintages as the project continues.
