Community Tasting Notes 1

January 20, 2014 - Light yellow color. Aromas of lemon peel, white peach, green melon and crushed rocks. Such crisp acid on the palate, this Chardonnay is lean and clean and mineral-driven. White peach and lemon peel mix with notes of sweet tart and aspects of chalk and crushed rocks. I'm telling you, Potter Valley is legit. I'm glad to see McFadden making this wine widely available for such a steal ($13). All stainless, no maloactic fermentation, 100% delicious.
